A few brief things because I am writing from my phone:
1) Only one of us got dive certified. I’ll give you a moment to guess which on of us that is…oh you don’t actually need a moment? Fine fine. I chickened out at the last minute with the open water dives. It was cold, murky and generally not inviting. Josh thought it was fabulous. Ehhh. I still have 5 more months to get my act together.
2) The rain forest is awesome. We rapelled off of rocks into waterfalls yesterday morning and went whitewater rafting in the afternoon. We are ziplining and ATVing today. Does it get any better than this??
3). I totally fell into the water during rafting. When I asked afterwards does that happen all the time? Answer: no. Um, great. But I survived and even am looking forward to rafting again in the future.
4) Costa Rica is just awesome. Seriously, a must see. We only made it to two spots but I would come back in a heartbeat. Love it.
Ok— off to the zipline!
Ps. No pictures! Our point and shoot won’t work! And out SLR isn’t practical for the adventure sports so no pictures for this particular vacation. Oh well. At least we gave identified one item on the christmas wishlist.
